The iMERMAID project proudly participated in the Combined Exhibition of Advanced Technologies CEATEC 2024 conference on 15-18 October in Tokyo, Japan. Represented by Zentrix, one of iMERMAID’s partners, the project highlighted its innovative PFAS sensor technology developed with support from the University of Angers. These sensors play a crucial role in identifying PFAS contaminants in water, contributing to global efforts in environmental protection and public health.
CEATEC, marking its 25th anniversary, brings together forward-thinking organisations to explore the future of society through digital innovation. This year’s theme, “Toward Society 5.0,” focused on fostering “Innovation for All,” encouraging co-creation across industries. Zentrix’s booth drew significant attention, presenting a hands-on opportunity for attendees to learn about iMERMAID’s pioneering work in water safety technology.
This event provided a valuable platform for IMERMIAD to showcase our advancements and engage with thought leaders to discuss the future of clean and safe water.
