About the iMERMAID project

The iMERMAID project is bringing together smart solutions to prevent and monitor contaminants of emerging concern (CoECs) in water. iMERMAID has opened its second open call for Associated Regions, where successful regional and local authorities located in EU Member States and in Associated Countries can benefit from the technologies developed in the project. Through its Open Call #2, iMERMAID will invest €500,000 to fund and support 5 associated regions that will propose use cases, addressing their specific challenges and objectives related to CoECs. Associated Regions will work with the iMERMAID consortium to develop their actions and to showcase the feasibility, replicability and scale up of the iMERMAID solutions, and expand the number of use cases acting as demonstrators.
