The 4th Project Consortium Meeting for IMERMAID was held on 27-28 November in Tunis, marking two days of productive discussions, knowledge sharing, and camaraderie. Hosted by OPALIA RECORDATI, the meeting allowed the consortium to offer updates from each use case and discuss the coordinate the upcoming activities.
In the area of Tunis, IMERMAID host the Use Case 2 site by OPALIA, where they are developing innovative approaches to removing pharmaceutical contaminants and protecting water resources.
Leaders from the project’s use cases presented advancements in sensor technologies, remediation strategies, and regulatory frameworks to reduce contamination.
With representatives from all 26 partner organisations in attendance, the meeting fostered collaboration and innovation, ensuring alignment across diverse efforts to tackle water resource challenges.
While the meeting focused on critical progress, it also offered moments of connection and community-building. Fun and memorable experiences underscored the importance of collaboration in achieving IMERMAID’s ambitious goals. The results and insights shared during the meeting will continue to guide the project’s efforts to protect water resources, strengthen environmental regulations, and improve the quality of life for communities across the EU and beyond.
