On December 2-4, in Brussels, Water Europe is hosting the Water Knowledge Europe 2025 – Winter Edition, one of the most influential annual events dedicated to water research, innovation, and EU-funded project development. Taking place at the Thon Hotel EU in Brussels, the event will bring together innovators, industry leaders, researchers, and policymakers shaping Europe’s water future.
With registrations closing in just one week, this year’s edition promises three days of strategic networking, project matchmaking, and high-level discussions on Europe’s water-related priorities.
The iMERMAID project is pleased to announce that it will be actively promoted during the event, spotlighting how its work contributes to tackling Contaminants of Emerging Concern (CECs) and supporting pollution reduction in line with EU Mission Ocean and Zero Pollution objectives.
A central highlight of Water Knowledge Europe 2025 is the OPEN CALL Pitch Session, taking place on 3 December. This session offers participants the chance to present their project concepts, connect with potential partners, and form competitive consortia for upcoming Horizon Europe calls. For many organisations, it is one of the most valuable opportunities to initiate collaborations that turn ideas into successful proposals.
